We are hiring Management Consultant
We are looking for a Management Consultant. You will be responsible for a group of around 15 consultants, including sales and budget responsibility, but also longer term capacity building in line with our business plans and short term HR matters.
Your experience is primarily within sales, preferably in the IT business, but you also have experience from staff liability. You have an understanding of the technical solutions that we are providing to our customers characterized by large organisations with complex systems with high demands in terms of security, availability and reliability.

Arctic Group at 2012 WCO IT Conference & Exhibition
Arctic Group participated in the 2012 WCO IT Conference & Exhibition held in Tallinn, Estonia from 6 – 8 June 2012. This year’s topic was “IT Transforms Core Business for Customs and its Stakeholders”, a very apt theme that holds true for Arctic Group’s key customs solutions, ArcticTARIFF, ArcticFAST and ArcticPORTAL.
Arctic Group is a regular exhibitor at this prestigious Customs event organized by WCO and similar to other years, this year’s event and exhibition had been a fulfilling and successful one for our Customs solutions team. The event saw more than 400 conference participants and our exhibition team had a busy and enjoyable time attending to the visitors and helping to address their questions and queries regarding Arctic Group’s solutions and services.

Exhibitor at the 3rd Annual WCO Technology & Innovation Forum

On September 27 Arctic Group was officially awarded quality and environment certfications according to ISO standards 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. Our operation has for a long time been structured and run according to internal management systems that in practice have fulfilled all the requirements in the standards. However, now we have proof that Arctic Group fulfills all quality and environmental requirements that many of our customers expects from us.
New frame agreement, Rikspolisstyrelsen
The Swedish police, Rikspolisstyrelsen, have awarded Arctic Group a frame agreement concerning IT consultancy services within the areas System development and System maintenance. The agreement is valid for two years with an option to extend it for an additional year.

Rikspolisstyrelsen is, amongst other, responsible for development of technology and methodologies to support the Swedish police.

New frame agreement, Open Source
Arctic Group and Kammarkollegiet have renewed the frame agreement concerning Open Source. The agreement is valid for two years starting 2011 and can be prolonged for another two years.
The frame agreement can be used by governmental authorities, foundations and other organizations with connections to the government. Also, some municipalities and county councils have chosen to connect to the frame agreement.

Arctic Group - a gazelle again
For the third year in row Arctic Group has been selected as a gazelle-company by the Swedish business newspaper Dagens Industri. The prize is given to fast growing, profitable companies in Sweden.
The criterias for being awarded are:
- a revenue of more than 10 Million SEK
- at least 10 employees
- the revenue has constantly increased over the last three years
- over the same period the revenue has at least doubled
- the accumulated result for the four financial years being analyzed should be positive
- the economy of the company should be sound
Arctic Group fulfills all these requirements more than well.

Prestigious framework agreement
Arctic Group has renewed its framework agreement as one of the primary supplier of global IT services to telecommunications powerhouse, TeliaSonera. The framework agreement is valid for two years, with effect from 2010, and is renewable for a further year.

ICT reduces GHG emissions
Intensive usage of ICT can reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions by over 25 % annually by 2020 compared with 2006 levels. This is presented in a report from IDC. The report summarizes ICT technologies that are most likely to have positive effects and using ICT in energy generation and distribution had the greatest possibility of carbon saving.
