Trends within Atlassian’s collaboration platforms
More about Atlassian
This year we participated virtually at Atlassian’s annual event Team ’22
After these days of conference together with our partner Atlassian, we feel really inspired! Not least of the new services that were presented, for example “Atlas”, “Compass” and “Automation for Confluence” to name a few.
A trend in the industry is that companies and teams use more different apps to carry out daily work. Often the work takes place in different apps that are not integrated with each other and there are often challenges with collaborating between these apps. Here, Atlassian wants to help its customers collaborate regardless of which product they choose, for example through the new Atlas service.
Atlas has been in closed beta for a while and is now being released, enabling teams to collaborate in a common view regardless of tool. Take the opportunity to test Atlas in beta for free here!
With Compass, new possibilities will open up for developers, that they get a unified and searchable overview of distributed architecture such as microservices, APIs and libraries.
It’s also extra fun that automations now find their way to Confluence, which makes it possible to, for example, automatically create and archive inactive pages.
Atlassian also wants to help customers who are increasingly automating by also supporting automation with third-party services such as GitHub, Jenkins and GitLab. We are eagerly waiting for the feature to be rolled out to all our customers!
