Get to know Jonas – A team lead with a heart for culture

Balancing code, colleagues, and clients – how Jonas builds a sustainable workday
Experience, energy, and a workday that never looks the same
After more than 15 years at Arctic Group – with a short break – Jonas Månsson knows why he enjoys it so much. It’s about variety, values, and a culture where no one is more important than anyone else.
I tried another company for a year but chose to come back. I’ve never regretted it. At AG, there’s an unbeatable culture, a great mix of people, and always a good atmosphere in the teams. I’ve had many different roles and assignments and work with many pleasant customers, says Jonas,
Jonas is a team lead in identity security – a field where both technology and collaboration are central.
No day is the same. In my role as team lead, my and Arctic Group’s priority is to create the right conditions for the team to grow, thrive, and perform sustainably over time. We value open dialogue about how our employees are doing – because we know that well-being individuals drive strong results. As a consultant, I’m often involved in several projects at once, which is both challenging and fun.
Technology and leadership – in balance
With a background in programming, Jonas has a strong technical drive, but it’s the problem-solving and holistic perspective that motivate him.
We’re not a code factory. Sure, programming is the foundation of a lot, but the most rewarding part is getting to think things through, structure, and solve problems that actually make a difference for the customer. My leadership is based on being a good role model – not just technically, but also in values and behavior.
Working with security solutions, according to Jonas, is just as much about responsibility as it is about technology.
Sometimes customers ask if we can “just do it this way instead,” and the answer is often yes. But just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. It’s important to have the courage to speak up when something doesn’t make sense.
Security that impacts the entire organization
Jonas is keen to emphasize the importance of viewing security work as more than just a technical project.
It’s easy to think you just buy and install a product, and then you’re done. But security solutions affect the entire organization. It’s not just ‘another IT project.’ You have to think long-term and avoid trying to do everything at once.
He emphasizes the importance of starting with the most critical areas:
The most important thing is to gain control over the most sensitive permissions—to protect and monitor them. That’s where solutions like IGA and PAM come into play. Visibility is often the first step: ‘What does our environment actually look like? Who has admin access to our most critical systems?”
“We really do it together”
Culture and knowledge sharing are themes Jonas often returns to.
We have a ‘just ask’ culture, and there’s always someone who’s been through something similar when you get stuck. In our meetings, we share both solutions and mistakes—and that’s exactly how it should be.
For new colleagues, he highlights Arctic Group’s values as something that’s truly felt in everyday work.
Responsibility, Precision, Togetherness—they’re not just words on a wall, they’re part of our daily rhythm. But I’d also add ‘Fun!’ We do a lot together: padel, game nights, parties, golf, trips… We genuinely enjoy each other’s company. And it shows.
At Arctic Group, it’s not just about technology and assignments – it’s about community, growth, and evolving together. We believe that the best ideas are born in the meeting between people. That’s why we’re always curious about those who want to help shape both solutions and culture with us. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in becoming part of our team at Arctic Group.
